How to Capture Content into DoubleMemory
We support multiple ways to capture content. The following are supported on Mac. On iOS, you can use the Share extension, or the Shortcut.

To setup:
- Go to Settings on DoubleMemory iOS, Tap the Shortcuts button. Or go directly to Shortcuts app from Mac or iOS and find DoubleMemory.
- You should see these shortcuts available. Add one that captures the clipboard. Or just download this already configured shortcut.
- Now go to iOS Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> Back Tap -> Double Tap -> Pick "Add to Memory". You can now double tap to save anything from clipboard into DoubleMemory.
On iPhones with Action Button, you can also connect the action button to this shortcut.
How to Clear Content from DoubleMemory
If you've accidentally saved too many unwanted items to DoubleMemory, clearing them is simple. Right-click the DoubleMemory Menu Bar icon, select "Clear Items," and choose your desired time range: last 15 minutes, last hour, last day, last week, or everything. A confirmation prompt will appear - please note that once confirmed, this action cannot be undone.
How to Toggle Reader Mode
Reader Mode is currently only supported on the iOS version of DoubleMemory. It's only available on some articles, not every kind of web page. We believe most pages deserve their own original design, and it does not make sense to default to Reader Mode for the majority of these cases: tweets, Instagram posts, and Redfin listings are all better viewed in their original format.
The Reader Mode feature is also quite minimal at the moment, and it can be buggy with some article pages. We'd love to hear from you how we can improve it. Email [email protected] and let us know.

How to Completely Remove DoubleMemory and Delete My Account
Since DoubleMemory relies on Apple iCloud and CloudKit to store all its content, when you delete the app, the content is still saved in iCloud. To delete it, you can:
- Open System Settings (iOS or macOS), not DoubleMemory Settings view.
- Tap [Your Name]
- Tap iCloud
- Tap "Manage..."
- Find DoubleMemory and click "Delete from iCloud"
How to Import from other Apps
We current support importing directly from Pocket, Omnivore, ReadWise or any other sources that can be intelligently parsed by our custom GPT. Check out our Import Tools.
